In a nutshell:Mike is an experienced senior manager with a passion for people development. He started his career in the financial services industry and excelled in sales. However, he wanted a bigger challenge and was a catalyst in the transformation of an established, but under resourced, firm of financial advisers which eventually floated on the stock market. Here he successfully performed a number of roles with responsibilities for leadership development, project management, business processes, change, business transformation and information technology.Over time he found himself drawn more and more towards helping individuals and teams fulfil their full potential recognising that is the only real key differentiator left in business today.Mike has a passion for learning and business development and champions the constant and continuing growth of both individuals and organisations.More about MikeHe is a qualified business coach and was a founder member of the Professional Business Coach alliance. Mike is also an NLP Practitioner and founder of the West Midlands Yes Group which he created in 2000 to help support individuals with a passion for personal growth (change requires constant reinforcement and repetition). He loves rock music, going to gigs, expensive hi-fi and still sulks about the demise of vinyl.Originally from the West Midlands Mike moved to Poole in 2003 fulfilling an ambition to live near the coast, the forest, the country and the beautiful Rivers Avon & Stour. He can sometimes be spotted mountain biking but in recent times this has become rarer than the White Crested Sparrow! What others say about Mike‘Big brain, conscientious, deep thinking, passionate and brilliant to have around in a scrape. His party piece is singing ‘Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap’ by AC/DC whilst apparently levitating 6 inches off the ground!Highly creative, tremendously well read, great fun, has a huge heart and is an inspiring person to work with and chat to.Favourite sayingEveryone’s an idiot and so am I - (think about it).
